If you would like to become a member of the Chatham-Kent Landlord Association, there are four simple steps we require you to complete, in order to ensure the integrity of our membership base.
Please review the steps below:
Step 1: Pay your membership dues (Credit Card / PayPal).
Pay the first year membership fee of $175 ($100/year for subsequent yearly membership) by clicking on the PayPal button below:
Note: CKLA membership is conditional to RENTCHECK approval (step 2 below). If your RENTCHECK approval is denied, your payment will be promptly refunded.
Step 2: Complete the registration form and apply for RENTCHECK.
Once you've completed the PayPal process in step 1 above, you will receive an email which will request you fill out the full registration form. RENTCHECK will require proof of rental property ownership (tax roll, insurance certificate, etc.). You will be able to access a limited version of the Member's Area.
Step 3: Full access and complete your Profile.
Once your membership to RENTCHECK has been approved, you will be able to enjoy all the premium features for your account. Please ensure to 'Edit my Profile' on the 'Members Page'. ENSURE you enable updates by email or you will not received meeting notifications.
Step 4: Register for RentSmart Landlord Course.
Registration can be on the home page: select 'RentSmart Courses' and then select the course date. New members
